WHO AM I? I’m Dave, married to Sue and the father of three grown up sons and grandfather to an ever-increasing brood. We live in Nottingham, England. I am a motorcyclist, riding a Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail and a Yamaha YBR 125. I work in the voluntary sector and I have been a DJ since the 1960s.
My name is Arthur David, but I use my middle name because my dad was Arthur Kenneth, my grandad was Arthur Harold and his father was Arthur and my son is Arthur Gareth. Confused? You would be! That’s why I’m known as Dave. (or David, to my mum)
My current blogging project is a daily upload of the music released by the Tamla Motown label as singles.
WHERE DID THAT NAME COME FROM? That’s easy: CHUFFING – is what steam trains do. HOG – the generic name for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It’s also the Harley Owners Group.
THANKS — for reading my views, experiences on rides, and stories about motorcycles, trains, music and life.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Always good to know that people are reading, and better still to get some interaction.
Great to read about your work in the voluntary space too.
Best Regards

Hi Thom, Thanks for your kind comment. I’m still learning about music blogging and I’ve been to your own brilliantly presented blog and picked up some inspiration.
